Here's how today went. Pardon my appearance, it's Sunday and I had absolutely nothing to do or nowhere to go for the first day in weeks. So, no work on the hair and not a stitch of makeup to the face. Even stayed in the pj's until after lunch which was downright AWESOME. Honestly can't remember the last time I did that. As for the expression on my face in the link, well, I've pretty much given up on YouTube at this point. Sheesh.
Not much in the way of food pictures to share today. Breakfast was a big plate of fruit similar to the one I had last week. BUT, we've added a new supplement called "Detox". We take this three times a day, 30 minutes before every meal along with the Mineralize and Optimize supplements. The Detox supplement is made up of:
Chia seed
Flax seed powder
Camu-Camu
Cat's Claw bark
Pau de Arco
Chanca Peidra
Whole Turmeric
Slippery Elm
Ginger Root
Peppermint
Citrus Bioflavonoids
Garlic
Quite a list. This blend of ingredients is formulated to get your "pooper" working and rid the colon of all the waste and toxins that have built up over the years. Here is what it looks like all mixed up with water. Pretty much looks like a cup of dirt doesn't it? Surprisingly, it doesn't taste bad at all. The peppermint flavour comes through after the last gulp and I'm sure that is a key factor in making it tolerable.
No picture of the fruit plate this morning but here are my two pooches waiting for their scraps. They love fruit, especially Oscar (the black and tan hound in the back) who always leaves a puddle of drool on the floor while he waits.
Lunch was ANOTHER micro greens salad so, again, no picture. Here's what we had for dinner. Brown rice with pinto beans seasoned with cumin, coriander, Bragg Liquid Aminos and Himalayan salt. Steamed green beans and steamed zucchini on the side.
Another good day today. Feeling well rested and full of energy. Was a wonderful stay-at-home day which was such a welcome change. Day 9, let's see what you have in store for us.
Until then...
Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Strong
